Aiming at the realization of carbon-negative systems, this work redefines CO2 from an emission to a valuable resource. Based on chemical engineering and reaction engineering, flow, heat transfer, and mass transfer within structured catalysts are integratively designed to control the catalytic reaction field. This enables the coordinated progression of coupled reactions, including CO2 reduction, decomposition, and solid carbon formation, thereby achieving both high selectivity and energy efficiency. Furthermore, design principles for scale-up are established to create a CO2 valorization process that simultaneously achieves carbon fixation and resource utilization.
